Approval for the Mayor to execute the Management Control Agreement between SLCSO, FPPD, and PSLPD and St. Lucie County to update authorized signatories to reflect current officeholders.

Recommend that the Management Control Agreement between the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Pierce Police Department, Port St. Lucie Police Department, and St. Lucie County be approved by the City Commission and signed by Mayor Hudson.. This agreement establishes the framework for providing: Criminal Justice Information Technology (CJIS) services Information sharing and exchange Dispatch and communications services Oversight of criminal justice systems and operations Continuity of Agreement:   This is not a new agreement but a continuation of a previously executed agreement. The substantive terms and conditions remain unchanged from the version previously approved and signed by the former Chief of Police.  The purpose of this action is to update authorized signatories to reflect current officeholders (Mayor, City Clerk, Chief of Police, City Attorney)  
 

The attached Management Control Agreement between SLCSO, FPPD, and PSLPD and St. Lucie County has been reviewed by the CAO for form and correctness.  Recommend approval by the City Commission and Mayor Hudson.
