SUBJECT:

Sunrise Event Center – Discussion and direction regarding Interior Build-Out: Architectural and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Design Construction Documents attached

SUMMARY:

At the September 9, 2026 FPRA meeting, Architects Design Collaborative, LLC presented the schematic design plans for the renovation of the 4th floor of the Sunrise Center. This phase focused on creating a basic layout and overall vision for the approximately 9,000-square-foot space, including features such as a warming kitchen, restrooms, and lounge areas to support a variety of community events. The FPRA Board approved the design and directed staff to move forward with the next phase of architectural services.

Architects Design Collaborative, LLC has now completed the architectural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction documents. This phase included finalizing the design, coordinating all building systems, and preparing detailed plans.

Staff is seeking direction from the FPRA Board on the next steps for the project.
