SUBJECT:
FPRA Resolution 26-10 - Interlocal Funding Agreement Between the City of Fort Pierce and Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency for the Jetty Park West Improvements Project in an Amount Not to Exceed $100,000
SUMMARY:
Resolution 26-10 approves an Interlocal Funding Agreement between the City and FPRA which establishes the terms under which the FPRA will provide up to $100,000 in redevelopment trust funds to support the design phase of the Jetty Park West Improvements Project. The project, located on South Beach within the FPRA district, includes engineering and surveying services for improved parking, site design, and enhanced public amenities consistent with Jetty Park. The City will serve as the lead agency, managing project design, permitting, and consultant coordination through its existing contract. This effort supports the FPRA Redevelopment Plan by improving public infrastructure, enhancing visitor experience, and promoting economic activity and tourism.
FPRA REDEVELOPMENT PLAN GOAL/POLICY
FPRA Goal 18.3 - The FPRA will evaluate and support the improvement and management of public open spaces within the Community Redevelopment Area.
FPRA Goal 20 - The FPRA shall evaluate and identify opportunities to incorporate additional amenities within public and City owned spaces within the CRA.
