SUBJECT:
Approval of the demolition and asbestos contract with Cross Environmental Service, Inc. for Demolition & Asbestos / Lead Based Paint Abatement, RFP No. 2026-008, in the amount of $199,000.00.
SUMMARY:
On March 2, 2026, the City Commission awarded RFP No. 2026-008 for Demolition, Asbestos, and Lead-Based Paint Abatement Services. This contract provides for a licensed contractor to perform comprehensive demolition services for public buildings and condemned private structures on an as-needed basis. Each demolition project is treated as a separate assignment, with the contractor responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals before commencing any work.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approving the contract as presented.
