SUBJECT:
Approval of the expenditure for City of Fort Pierce FY 2027 (2nd out of 3rd year) Microsoft 365 Renewal and Core Server Licenses under Region 4 ESC Contract No. R250307, in an amount not to exceed $159,940.40.
SUMMARY:
The City Commission previously approved the use of Region 4 Education Service Center (ESC) Contract No. R250307 through a piggyback agreement at its November 3, 2025 meeting. The Region 4 ESC contract provides for a term of October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2028, with two additional two-year renewal periods.
The City utilizes Microsoft 365 to support essential business functions, including productivity, communication, collaboration, and document management. The proposed renewal will provide continued access to the City's existing Microsoft 365 licenses for Fiscal Year 2027, as well as Core Server licenses to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence needs.
The FY 2027 renewal will be obtained in accordance with the terms, conditions, and pricing established under Region 4 ESC Contract No. R250307. The requested renewal is within the current term of the approved cooperative contract and does not constitute a new piggyback procurement.
