SUBJECT:

Approval of a Mutual Benefit and Use Agreement with Thompson Consulting Services, LLC. and adoption of St. Lucie County Contract No. C26-05-0497 for disaster debris monitoring management & consulting services.

SUMMARY:

St. Lucie County competitively procured and awarded Contract No. C26-05-0497 to Thompson Consulting Services, LLC. for disaster debris monitoring management & consulting services. Approval of the Mutual Benefit and Use Agreement will allow the City to utilize the County’s contract when debris monitoring management & consulting services are needed following hurricanes, storms, or other qualifying emergencies. Approval does not authorize an immediate expenditure or guarantee work; services will be authorized only as needed and in accordance with applicable procurement and emergency-response requirements.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends that the City Commission approve the Mutual Benefit and Use Agreement (MBUA) with Thompson Consulting Services, LLC.  and authorize the City to adopt and utilize St. Lucie County Contract No. C26-05-0497.

ALTERNATIVES:

We will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
