SUBJECT:
Approve purchase of Ice Making system from Complete Restaurant Equipment in the amount of $12,706.59
SUMMARY:
The City Marina is interested in bagging ice for resale. The return on investment will be approximately one year. Marina staff will bag and resell ice. It will also allow the availability of supplying ice on hand during hurricanes to the City.
The objective is to increase profit margins on ice sales.
Price includes equipment, filter system, shipping and installation.
Three quotes submitted on Bid # 2016-025. Vendor selected due to keeping equipment standard throughout city.
