CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:
- Obtain a permit for the installation of electrical wiring to both units. Additionally, the work that was done does not meet code. Hire a properly licensed contractor to obtain a permit and bring the work up to code.
- Repair or replace the roof where it is leaking.
- Repair or replace the stove.
- Repair or replace the light in the kitchen.
- Install smoke detectors.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City requests that if the Special Magistrate finds the violation exists, the violator(s) be given 60 days to obtain a permit and comply with all permit conditions or a fine of $100.00 per day be assessed.
