SUBJECT:
Approve grant award for Ms. Tammy Rodgers for her business, Tazzy T's Boutique in the amount of $3,000 as an eligible recipient under the 2015-2016 CDBG Action Plan-Grant Award for Small Business.
SUMMARY:
2015-2016 CDBG allocated funding for small business grants for owners who attend two (2) small business workshops to purchase items to improve capacity and sustainability. Ms. Rodgers attended workshops 5/18/16 & 8/18/16 and applied for grant to increase inventory in her business.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve grant award for $3,000 for Ms. Tammy Rodgers to purchase inventory for her business, Tazzy T's Boutique that will increase the capacity and sustainability of the business.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve this grant award.
