SUBJECT:
Request for approval of proposal from Beemats in the amount of $109,440 for the annual harvesting, maintenance and replanting vegetated mats at Moore's Creek and Indian Hills Recreation Area.
SUMMARY:
The maintenance will be performed on an annual basis harvesting and replanting each island one time a year for an annual cost of $109,440. A total of 15 islands will be maintained (3 islands for Moore's Creek and 12 islands for Indian Hills Recreation Area).
RECOMMENDATION:
Engineering recommends award this proposal.

Train in-house staff on harvesting and replanting.
