FINDINGS/ORDER:
January 19, 2005 the Special Magistrate found Rudaina Ibrahim responsible for the code violations listed above and gave him 7 days to comply or a fine of $100.00 would be assessed.
ACTION DATES:
- January 27, 2005 an inspection was made; the property was not in compliance, the fines began.
- April 4, 2005 the Order Assessing Fine and Imposing Lien was recorded.
- September 6, 2005 an inspection was made, the property is now in compliance, the fines stopped.
- 2007 the prior owned requested a lien reduction, which was approved by the City Commission but due to non-payment, reverted back to its original amount.
- October 27, 2016 received a lien search request. Learned that the property was foreclosed upon but our lien was recorded prior to the Lis Pendens and it did not list the City as a party; therefore, the City's lien is still valid.
- November 10, 2016 received a request for reduction from new owner, Qamar Uddin Wahaj.
