Request for approval to submit grant application & receive grant award for marketing & promotion of tourism in Fort Pierce from Visit Florida.
SUMMARY:
Request to submit grant app & receive award from Visit Florida to enhance marketing of small tourism-related venues in the Fort Pierce Authentic Tours program. This is a $5,000 grant that requires a 1:1 match. Matching funds will be provided via 2016-2017 CDBG Economic Development activity..
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve submittal of grant application and subsequent grant award from Visit Florida to enhance marketing and promotion of tourism in Fort Pierce.
