SUBJECT:
Approve grant award for Harriet Staley, owner of E&H Handyman Services in the amount of $3,000 as an elible recipient under the 2016-17 CDBG Grant Award for Small Business.
SUMMARY:
2016-17 CDBG Action Plan allocates funding for small businesses that attend two (2) educational workshops to purchase items to improve capacity and sustainability. Ms. Staley attended workshops 11/16/16 and 2/15/17 and has applied for a grant to purchase equipment for her business.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve grant award for Ms. Staley to purchase equipment for D&H Handyman Services.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve grant award.
