VIOLATIONS:

CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:

  1. August 15, 2016 owner informed officer that they did not know they needed a permit; however, they were informed at the BTR inspection that a permit would be required.
  2. August 17, 2016 the Special Magistrate found Public Storage Inc. responsible for the violation and gave them 60 days to obtain a permit and comply with all permit conditions or a fine of $100.00 per day would be assessed.
  3. October 14, 2016 Tercie informed officer that they were going to hire Andros Construction and requested more time.  Officer issued an extension of 90 days.
  4. January 24, 2017 an inspection was made, the violations were not complied, the fines began.
  5. January 24, 2017 received an email from Lloyd Constant, President of Andros Construction requesting an extension of 15 days to allow the Architect to complete the required drawing,  Officer held off recording the Affidavit to allow the additional 15 days to complete the required drawing.
  6. February 6, 2017 received an email from Tercie Frederic requesting an extension.  She explained that they hired Andros Construction as contractor and Cook & Menard Architect as architect to do the work.
  7. February 23, 2017 the fines are currently $3020.00 ($20.00 recording fees) and continue to accrue at $100.00 per day.
