SUBJECT:
Approve the payment of $15,000 payable to Main Street Fort Pierce, Inc. for the sponsorship of the 29th Annual Sights and Sounds on Second Christmas event and parade.
SUMMARY:
Each year, the City of Fort Pierce provides financial support for the annual Christmas Sights and Sounds on Second event to help defray the expenses. A total of $15,000 has been budgeted and is available in the approved FY 2018 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the approval of $15,000, which is budgeted in the approved FY 2018 budget for the sponsorship of this event.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
