SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance No. 18-004: An Ordinance Amending the Effective Date of City Ordinance 16-018. FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
- The City Commission, on September 19th, 2016, adopted Ordinance 16-018, correcting Scrivener’s error in Ordinance L-295 (Use Table) pertaining to the classification of Dwelling Rentals in the E-2, E-3, R-3, R-4, R-4A, and R-5 districts.
- Ordinance 16-018 provided that the Ordinance become effective immediately upon final passage, whereas the same was to become effective retroactively, nunc pro tunc, to November 4, 2013, the effective date of Ordinance L-295.
- Proposed Ordinance 18-004 , seeks to amend Ordinance No. 16-018 so that the same shall become effective retroactively, nunc pro tunc, to November 4, 2013, the effective date of Ordinance L-295.
