SUBJECT:
Approve Specific Authorization No. 2 to Design Build Contract for RFP No. 2013-26 City Hall Wind Retrofit Project - Expansion with Windtech Products, Inc. in the amount of $285,333.00 pending review as to form and correctness by the City Attorney.
SUMMARY:
This design build contract covers four City locations: Riverwalk, Police Department, Public Works, and St. Anastasia. Specific Authorization No. 2 will add the Marina Dockmaster building located at 1 Avenue A to the contract. Services to be provided are "Turn Key" material and installation, removal of existing storefront systems and doors including disposal of existing product and replacement of impact rated systems, glass, and glazing. The budget for the Marina building is $285,333 which will increase the contract from $2,878,803.00 to $3,164,136.00
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval.
