SUBJECT:
Approve Close Construction, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder to Bid #2018-027 for an amount not to exceed $32,450 for rehabilitation of 811 South 15th Street through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program.
SUMMARY:
According to the SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) the City may provide Owner-Occupied Housing rehabilitations using SHIP funds to upgrade the exteriors of substandard houses. SHIP assistance is provided to income-eligible owner-occupied households on a first-come first qualified, first served basis.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Close Construction, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder for Bid #2018-027 in an amount not to exceed $32,450.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the award of Bid #2018-027.
