SUBJECT:
Approve Gentile Corporation as the lowest responsive bidder to Bid # 2018-022 for an amount not to exceed $32,550 for rehabilitation of 1908 Barcelona Avenue, funded through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program.
SUMMARY:
According to the SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP), the City may provide Owner-Occupied Housing rehabilitations using SHIP funds to upgrade the exteriors of substandard houses. SHIP assistance is provided to income-eligible owner-occupied households on a first-come, first-qualified, first served basis.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Gentile Corporation as the lowest responsive bidder for Bid # 2018-022 in an amount not to exceed $32,550.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the award of Bid #2018-022.
