SUBJECT:
Approve Close Construction, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder to RFP #2018-023 for an amount not to exceed $28,850 for the rehabilitation of 304 S 21st Street funded through the SHIP program.
SUMMARY:
According to the SHIP LHAP, the City may provide Owner-Occupied Housing rehabilitations using SHIP funds to upgrade the exteriors of substandard houses. SHIP assistance is provided to income-eligible owner-occupied households on a first-come, first-qualified, first-served basis.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Close Construction, LLC as the lowest responsive bidder for Bid #2018-023 in an amount not to exceed $28,850.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the award of Bid #2018-023.
