FINDINGS/ORDER:
June 21, 2017 Special Magistrate issued a new order that found Doclus Lima responsible for the violations and gave him 30 days to obtain a permit and comply to all permit conditions. If complied a fine of $100.00 per day would be assessed.
ACTION DATES:
- August 22, 2017 - Building Department Investigator Coss exercised his authorization to grant an extension of 90 days and issued a warning that if the property doesn’t come into compliance by the end of extension, the owner will have to go before the Special Magistrate to request another extension.
- November 22, 2017 - an inspection was made, the violations were not in compliance, the fines started.
- May 18, 2018 - another inspection was made, the violations are now in compliance, the fines stopped.
- July 23, 2018 - received a "request for reduction/rescindment of fines".
- The total fines are $17,730.00 (includes $30.00 recording fees). There is no recorded lien at this time.
