SUBJECT:

Resolution 18-R52 establishing criteria and procedures for the naming and/or renaming of public facilities.

SUMMARY:

The City Commission directed the Parks Advisory Committee to establish criteria and procedures for the naming and/or renaming public facilities. The Committee researched the topic thoroughly, reviewed procedures of other municipalities throughout the state and created Resolution 18-R52.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Adopt Resolution 18-R52

ALTERNATIVES:

Staff will proceed as directed by the Commission.
