SUBJECT:
Public and City Commission review and comment on the 2013-2014 CDBG Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) containing a summary of programmatic activities. First of Two Public Hearings.
SUMMARY:
The City is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to annually submit a CAPER. This report provides an assessment of expenditures and accomplishments of the City’s progress in carrying out its Consolidated Plan 2011-2015, and its one-year Annual Action Plan (2013-2014) for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The report covers community development objectives undertaken during the period of October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. The report does not establish any new policy.
RECOMMENDATION:
Provide time for a public hearing on the Program Year 2013-2014 CAPER, as required by the U.S. Department of HUD.

Do not provide a public hearing.
