SUBJECT:
Approval of a $45,000.00 change order to Johnson-Davis, Inc. to compensate for additional Edwards Road Canal (Canal No. 9) construction services.
SUMMARY:
The City Commission approved a $421,910.00 construction contract to Johnson-Davis, Inc., for emergency construction restoration of a portion of Edwards Road Canal situated between Oleander Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard. Additional work along the Edwards Road Canal is needed in order to avoid overhead utilities, adequately stabilize the canal bank adjacent to the new headwalls, and to provide a sufficient construction site work area.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval
