SUBJECT:
Approval of Florida Boating Improvement Grant No. 18069 for Moore's Creek Boat Ramp Improvements in the amount of $72,500.00.
SUMMARY:
The City has been awarded grant funding in the amount of $72,500.00 for imrovements to the Moore's Creek boat ramp. These improvements as outlined in the grant agreement consist of installation of 3 boat ramp access piers with floating docks and the installation of an 85 foot wooden staging dock adjacent to the boat ramp. The City has also received a matching funds grant from F.I.N.D. in the amount of $78,500.00 for this project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval
ALTERNATIVES:
Not accept the grant funding and identify an alternative funding source for the $72,500.00.
