1. Special Magistrate Hearing - January 15, 2019, owner was not present. An Order Determining Violation was sent on January 16, 2019. The order provides 60 days to remedy violation(s), or a fine begins accruing at $100.00 per day.
2. An Affidavit of Non-Compliance was issued on March 18, 2019. Fines began accruing on that date. A Massey letter was sent on March 20, 2019.
3. A letter from the owner's son was received on March 26, 2019. It explained that his father, the owner of the property, became ill and unable to care for himself in this home. Another son living out of state, came and took him home. He is living out of state, and is under medical care there. He will not be able to return to the home. It further explained that, before leaving, his father signed a "Power of Attorney" to a Ricky Duffield, in order to get the necessary repairs done to the house.
