SUBJECT:
Accept Florida Humanities Council Grant Award in the amount of $15,000.00 to Complete Highwaymen Heritage Trail project.
SUMMARY:
The City recently received a $15k grant award from the Florida Humanities Council (FWC) to complete the Highwaymen Heritage Trail project in Fort Pierce.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Commission accept the $15k grant award from the FHC to complete the Highwaymen Heritage Trail project in Fort Pierce and direct Project Director Libby Woodruff and Project Fiscal Officer Gloria Johnson to execute the Grant Contractual Agreement, subject to approval of form and correctness by the City Attorney.
