SUBJECT:

Approval of Specific Authorization No. 2 to Brothers Construction, Inc. for marine design and construction services to rehabilitate the Moore's Creek Boat Ramps in the amount of $221,660.00.

SUMMARY:

Request approval of Specific Authorization No. 2 to Brothers Construction for the rehabilitation of the Moores Creek Boat Ramps. The City has received 2 grants for the construction of the project; F.I.N.D. awarded the City a grant in the amount of $78,500.00 and FWC awarded the City a grant in the amount of $72,500.00 to apply to the design,permitting and construction costs. The City will be required to cover the additional project cost of $70,660.00 as matching funds. Staff is requesting execution of the agreement pending approval by the City Attorney as to form and correctness.

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommed approval

Place the project out for bid and return grants because of time restraints.
