SUBJECT:
Public Hearing on the proposed increase of $15.00 to the Stormwater Utility Assessment Fee.
SUMMARY:
On June 3, 2019, the City of Fort Pierce City Commission adopted Resolution No. 19-R22, Notice of Intent to consider an increase in the annual Stormwater Utility Fee of $15.00. This increase would provide a total assessment of $69.00/year for a single family home. In accordance with Florida State Statutes, Chapter 197.3632, public notification of increases to the City of Fort Pierce's non-ad valorem assessment shall be presented at a public hearing. This agenda item is to request approval of the increase and to fulfill the state's requirement of public notification.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval
