SUBJECT:
Approval of a lease between the City of Fort Pierce and the Sunrise Humane Society for the lease of the animal shelter located at 100 Savannah Road, for a term of one (1) year with four (4) automatic renewals.
SUMMARY:
Primary lease terms include:
- Term for one (1) year with four (4) automatic renewal options.
- Lease payment of 20% of the prior month's impound fees.
- Identifying maintenance responsibilities between the City of Fort Pierce and the Sunrise Humane Society.
- Providing for future improvements.
- Providing for inspections and correction of any deficiencies.
- Providing for termination with and without cause.
- Linking the lease to the service contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the lease as presented.
