SUBJECT:
Postponed from 4/4/2022 - Approve staff recommendation in response to request to reduce lot clearing fees in the amount of $9,002.31 against 1004 Avenue G, Fort Pierce, FL, Parcel ID# 2404-821-0001-000/4, owned by Leroy Belonce, by waiving the interest, penalties and a portion of the administrative costs in the amount of $5,656.58, leaving a balance due of $3,345.73 payable in 60 days.
SUMMARY:
- The property was purchased by a tax deed sale in June 2005.
- Seven of the liens on the property are in the name of the owner.
- The application is submitted by Imatide Charles, the sister of the owner, on his behalf.
RECOMMENDATION:
- Staff recommends waiving the interest and penalties in total and a portion of the administration fees in the amount of $5,656.58.
- Staff recommends accepting payment of the hard costs for services plus the balance of the administration fees in the amount of $3,345.73, payable in 60 days.
