SUBJECT:
Resolution 15-R30 appointing Mrs. Charlene Adair to the Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Board rather than the Fort Pierce Tree Board as originally submitted.
SUMMARY:
The Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Advisory Committee and the Fort Pierce Tree Board work hand in hand maintaining and directing the beautification project of the City. There is no current vacancy on the Tree Board but several vacancies on the KFPB board. Mrs Charlene Adair is currently organizing our beach volunteer efforts and would like to be further involved with our Tree Board and KFPB to help beautify the City of Fort Pierce. Mrs. Adair has attended some of our meetings and is a productive volunteer in all of our community projects. The Board would like to have Mrs. Adair appointed to the Fort Pierce Tree Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Board is recommending the appointment of Mrs. Charlene Adair to the Fort Pierce Tree Board. Mrs. Adair is a highly dedicated volunteer in our community and wishes to serve on our Tree Board to further help support the community.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not appoint.
