Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 24-003 Establishing the Sunrise Community Development District.  SECOND READING

Petition to Sunrise Community Development District (“District”) was submitted by Sunrise Residential, LLC to the City Commission of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida (“City”) pursuant to the Uniform Community Development District Act of 1980, Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. The proposed CDD is generally located north of W. Midway Road and west of Interstate 95, and contains approximately 475.61+/- acres, as shown on the map below.
 
The proposed CDD is designed to provide a financing mechanism, as well as a long-term operation and maintenance entity, for community infrastructure and services, including but not limited to, the funding and construction of parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural and educational uses, and security for the site, including but not limited to guardhouses, fences, gates, etc. as authorized and described by Section 190.012(2), Florida Statutes.
