A voluntary application for annexation was submitted by applicant Amanda Grohall, MBV Engineering on behalf of owner(s) 169 Delray LLC, Jay Bailyn. The request is to annex Parcel ID: 3403-233-0002-000-6, located at or near the intersection of W. Midway Road and Oleander Avenue. The subject property has a County Future Land Use designation of Public Facilities (P/F) and Zoning designation of Institution (Inst). The proposed property is requesting annexation and obtaining City Future Land Use designation of Residential High (RH) 12-18 du/ac and Zoning designation of High Residential Density (R-5). 

As proposed, the annexation meets the standards of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, specifically Policy Section 1.11 regarding annexations. Therefore, the Planning Staff recommends approval of the proposed voluntary annexation, along with the associated Future Land Use designation of RH and the Zoning designation of R-5.
