SUBJECT:
Ordinance 18-020 - Review and approval of an application for Major Amendment to a Planned Development by Applicant; Endeavor Wall Homes, LLC, and Representative Bill Barboro to modify the rear yard setback for lots 1-318 located in the subdivision known as Celebration Point, located at approximately 5501 Peterson Road, Fort Pierce, FL. The property is currently zoned PD, Planned Development (Parcel ID 2418-600-0005-000-6). SECOND READING
SUMMARY:
- In accordance with Section, 22-40 of the City Code, the applicant is requesting the review and approval of a Development Review (Major Modification) to the PD to allow for the rear setback for the single family portion of Celebration Pointe to change from 15 feet to 8 feet. The developer needs this setback change to allow for the homes they designed to fit on each parcel.
- On January 18 2005, the St. Lucie County Commission granted Preliminary and Final PUD approval along with a change in zoning classification for the Celebration Pointe development, proposed by United Homes International, Inc.
- Celebration Pointe was annexed into the City of Fort Pierce on December 4, 2017. Since then the owner has sold the Single Family portion (Lots 1-318) of the development to Endeavor Wall Homes, LLC.
