Resolution No. 18-R57 authorizing the sale of 505 N 7th Street to Maloma Peterkin of Dreamchasers Preschool, in the amount of $75,000 for the purpose of a pre-school program.

Staff seeks the City Commission approval for the slae of 505 N 7th Street. This property was declared surplus by Resolution through Resolution 16-R38 on August 2016.  This property was marketed previously and the last proposal offering $50,000 was rejected by the City Commission April 2017.  Staff placed a new RFP, and two proposals were offered.

A team comprised of Purchasing, Planning, Public Works and Grants Administration reviewed the proposals and after careful review and consideration, are recommending the sale be awarded to Maloma Peterkin of Dreamchasers Preschool, in the amount of $75,000 for the purpose of a pre-school program.  Details of both bids are attached.
