Appointing Members to the Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Advisory Board

SUBJECT:

Resolution 19-R04 appointing members to the Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Advisory Board following a vote by the Commission

SUMMARY:

Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Advisory Board consists of nine members representing as follows:  three City Employees (Public Works, Code Enforcement, Police Department), three City Residents, one St. Lucie County Resident, one Fort Pierce Business Owner, and one City Resident specializing in horticulture.

The current membership with expired or expiring terms is as follows:
City Resident, Jane Zezeck , whose term expired 1/18/2019
Employee representing Public Works, Shyanne Helms, whose term expired 1/18/2019

Jane Zezeck is seeking reappointment as City Resident. Additional eligible applications have been received from Bob Burge, Annette Brown and Dan Noelke for consideration.

Shyanne Helms is seeking reappointment as Employee representing Public Works. No other applications were received. 

RECOMMENDATION:

Reappoint Jane Zezeck as City Resident on the board. 

Reappoint Shyanne Helms as Employee representing Public Works position on the board.

ALTERNATIVES:

Select other member to serve in the remaining City Resident position from the eligible applications received from Jane Zezeck, Annette Brown, Dan Noelke and Bob Burdge.
