SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 19-005 repealing and replacing Chapter 5, Article X(A) currently entitled "Flood Hazard Zones" Sections 5-315 through 5-329. SECOND READING
SUMMARY:
Proposed changes include an adoption of a new Chapter 5 Article X(A) entitled "Floodplain Management" Section 5-315 through 5-329 adopting flood hazard maps; designating a floodplain administrator; adopting procedures and criteria for development in flood hazard areas; and for other purposes.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of Ordinance 19-005 "Floodplain Management," which repeals and replaces Chapter 5, Article X(A) Entitled "Flood Hazard Zones" Section 5-315 through 5-329.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve ordinance at this time.
