SUBJECT:
Approval to award RFP No. 2020-007 Property Lease - Human Development Resources Center Gymnasium, to Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County with a ten (10) year term with two, five-year renewal options and a monthly lease rate of $1.00.
SUMMARY:
The City of Fort Pierce solicited proposals from responsible proposers to lease the property located at the corner of 29th Street and Avenue D in the City of Fort Pierce for the purpose of promoting children's programming and recreational opportunities which have a specific public benefit.
The invitation was sent to 85 vendors. Six (6) vendors requested specifications with two (2) responding 0 "No Bid" (33.33% total response).
The Evaluation Committe reviewed the two proposals submitted and is recommending RFP 2020-007 be awarded to
the highest ranked respondent, Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County.
The term of this lease will be for 10 years with two five-year renewal options.
