Resolution 23-R41 - appointing members to the Fort Pierce Youth Council.

Applications were solicited and those received are attached for consideration.  Four of the existing members will be remaining on the Council and have terms that expire in 2024: Deonna Davis, Iyonee Allen, Tyanna Gore and Reese Allen.   When the committee was originally set up, there were five direct appointments and two at-large seats.   Last year, in an effort to include all of those interested, the Commission opted to appoint all eight applicants as at-large members.

Since the last meeting, two additional applications have been received from Shayla Hawthorne and KaShylla Wood for consideration of appointment.

Commission needs to decide if they want to maintain the Board at 7 members as originally formed, or increase to 9 members to include all of those who have expressed interest.   Two additional applications have been received.
