PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed 2018-19 General Fund Budget and Millage Rate for the City of Fort Pierce.
Ms. Morris gave a brief overview of the proposed budget.
Mayor Hudson opened the Public Hearing.
Seeing no one, the Mayor closed the Public Hearing.

Consider any proposed amendments to the 2018-19 General Fund Budget.
Mayor Hudson asked if there were any amendments to the proposed budget. There were no amendments.
c.
Adoption of tentative 2018-19 General Fund Budget
Motion was made by Commissioner Jeremiah Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Thomas Perona to adopt the tentative budget as proposed.

Mayor Hudson announced that City of Fort Pierce is proposing a millage rate of 6.90 and the rate exceeds the roll-back rate of 6.5472 by 5.39%.

The second public hearing and first reading of the budget ordinances will be held at a special City Commission Meeting on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 5:05 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 100 N US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, Florida.
