OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE FORT PIERCE CITY CRA ADVISORY COMMITTEE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2020, IN FORT PIERCE 2ND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM, 100 NORTH US HIGHWAY 1, FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA.

708 North 18th Street
Planning Director, Jennifer Hofmeister spoke about the property at 708 North 18th St. Ms. Miller, who is the owner of the adjacent property at 706 North 18th St, would like to purchase the city owned property to be able to keep in the family. Jennifer Hofmeister said that the property will need to go through the City's competitive bid process.

Overview of the FPRA Incentive/Grant Program
Shyanne Helms provided an overview of the new FPRA Incentive/Grant Program. At the January 28, 2020 FPRA Board Meeting, the FPRA Board approved $150,000 of FPRA contingency funding to create the following redevelopment incentives: Commercial Façade/Site Improvements Grants, Commercial Interior Improvement Grants, Small Business Grants and Event Sponsorship Grants. The CRA Advisory Committee will serve as the evaluation committee to rank each application before ultimately being decided upon by the FPRA Board. The CRA Advisory Committee will formulate the evaluation criteria at the next meeting.

Discussion of possible dates for a tour of the redevelopment area
The CRA tour was discussed, but no date was set. The Committee will wait until the next FPRA meeting and then discuss this topic again. The stops for the tour were discussed and these locations were decided on:
- King's Inn
- Lincoln Theatre
- Adam's Place
- King's Landing
- Fisherman's Wharf
- Water Treatment Plant
