Mayor Hudson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

a.
2022 Legislative Priorities

Legislative Affairs Director, Nicole Fogarty, presented an overview of the 2021 Legislative Priorities and a preview of 2022.

 
b.
Parking Committee Recommendations

Parking Committee Chair, Michael Broderick presented the Parking Committee recommendation for revision of the Walker Parking Study, construction of a parking structure to address the need downtown, installation of angled parking on Indian River Dr, and removal of Marvin Grimsley from the Committee due to attendance.

 
c.
Sunrise Theatre Operational Plan

Director of the Sunrise Theatre, Sharon Engle, presented the 2021/2022 Operational Plan.

 
d.
Mayor and City Commission Compensation Comparison

City Clerk, Linda Cox presented a local comparison of the Mayor and Commissions compensation for informational purposes in advance of a proposed Ordinance for formalization of compensation and modification.

 
5.
COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC

Any person who wishes to comment on any subject may be heard at this time. Please limit your comments to three (3) minutes or less, as directed by the Mayor, as this section of the Agenda is limited to thirty minutes. The City Commission will not be able to take any official actions under Comments from the Public. Speakers will address the Mayor, Commissioners, and the Public with respect. Inappropriate language will not be tolerated.

City Commission Boards and Committees Updates

Mayor and Commissioners provided brief updates.

 
7.
Adjournment

Immediately following adjournment, please move toward the doors and exit the chambers. This allows for the safe and courteous exit of all persons, and those on the dais. Conversations after the meeting should be held outside of chambers, in the foyer or elsewhere, but not in the commission chambers where lights will be out as soon as the chambers are empty.

Mayor Hudson adjourned the meeting at 12:21 p.m.
