CHAIRMAN VIEWPOINTS
1. Be prepared to be in high gear to start advertising som surplus property each month.
2. This board is a Government Board and communication is important. Call in to say you won't make it to the meeting. It is considered and excuse if you call in, but if you don't, it is an absence. Try to always arrive on time.

OLD BUSINESS
a.
FPRA Meeting Follow-up
Shyanne Harnage updated the board on the FPRA meeting. Thee FPRA board approved the recommendations regarding 414 Avenue D, the Bid was awarded to 5-Star Car Repair. The interlocal agreement was passed for the Smart City Initiative, electronic kiosks that will be located throughout downtown. A streetscape and landscape improvement proposal was well-received as well. The parklet program is coming to an end on April 29. The property at 2902 Avenue D. The vacant lot behind Percy Peek Gymnasium was presented to the FPRA as well. They requested to speak to Indian River State College to find out if they had any ideas for the property.
b.
1st Floor of Sunrise Center RFP
The 1st floor of the Sunrise Center is 4,000 sqft. and the RFP is being prepared to go before the FPRA in June. The board discussed different options of businesses that could take over the space. The board suggested a bookstore or a pharmacy would be a good option.

Redevelopment of Vacant Parcel at 9th Street and Orange Avenue
The property is next to St. Anastacia which Lindsay School of the Arts is now leasing. They originally submitted a site plan with surface parking, but it was suggested to come up with other ideas since the property is on the side of the road. Shyanne asked if they agree with putting the property out for proposals to see what ideas come forward and the board agreed.
