OLD BUSINESS
a.
Indian River Drive Courthouse Parking
Mr. Broderick began conversation about the South end parking lot nar the pier and that there is no public parking signage. Audria mentioned it is designated on the map, but no signage and the Committee will need to make that a recommendation. The committee decided to make a recommendation to have signage put up at all public parking lots. Gus Gutierrez made a motion and Dan Cushman seconded it.
Representatives from the Clerk of Courts had some ideas for parking issues. They would like to have staff park in the County parking garage, a level or two to accommodate 110 employees. They would like to have jury park in the City parking garage with a possible automated driving program. A lieutenant from the Sheriff's office spoke on the parking, thanking the committee for the parking for the deputies and how they may help on parking solutions. They spoke on the cones blocking parking on 2nd Street, it was asked if the parking in front of The Boston House was available to move the Sheriff parking further down that way. It was requested to have representatives from Boston House and St. Andrews at the next meeting to get their input.

Marina Recommendations
Carl Dougal brought some possible solutions for the parking. As far as Melody Lane, 2-hour parking for the first 10 spaces on each side coming from the north going south and the rest of the 15 spaces would open to public parking for the vendors and tenants that leave their cars for more than 2 hours. This would be tested for 2-3 months to see how well it goes once the part-time parking enforcement officer is hired. The Committee discussed other options and decided to continue the conversation at the April meeting.
6.
NEW BUSINESS
a.
Bistro Parking
Mr. Broderick spoke on the Bistro parking that the northern third is designated as permanent parking and the southern part is designated as 2-hour parking. It was agreed by the Committee to look into if the Walker study will cover this issue and speak on the topic at the next meeting and see if any recommendations need to be done the City Commission.
7.
COMMITTEE AND STAFF COMMENTS
Audria updated the Committee that a part-time Code Enforcement Officer is in the works and a selection Committee is reviewing the proposals for parking enforcement and management and this will help the Code Enforcement Officers.
