MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, HELD IN THE THIRD FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL, 100 NORTH U.S. #1, FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, AT 5:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, AUGUST 17, 2015.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Hudson called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.

Special Closed Meeting (Attorney-Client Session) pursuant to F.S. 286.011(8) at the request of the City Attorney to discuss settlement negotiations or strategy session related to litigation expenditures in connection with K & K, Inc. vs. City of Fort Pierce 56-2013-CA-002183(BC) and Foudy vs. City of Fort Pierce 2:14-CV-14324 US District Court.

Announcement of estimated length of attorney-client session.
Closed session is anticipated to take approximately 1 hour and will be recorded by a certified court reporter. At this time, City Clerk Linda Cox left the meeting.

The session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter. (Note: The court reporter will prepare the transcript of the meeting and file it with the City Clerk within a reasonable time; it shall remain sealed until the conclusion of the litigation, at which time the transcript will be made part of the public record.)
7.
Meeting reopened at conclusion of attorney-client session.
City Clerk returned to the meeting and Mayor Hudson announced the session was reopened at 6:12 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT
Meeting was adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
