MINUTES OF A SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, HELD IN THE THIRD FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL, 100 NORTH U.S. #1, FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, AT 5:30 P.M. ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2015.

CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Hudson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

ROLL CALL

Present:

Mayor Linda Hudson; Commissioner Rufus Alexander; Commissioner Edward Becht; Commissioner Thomas Perona; Commissioner Reginald Sessions

Staff Present:

City Clerk Linda Cox
City Manager Robert Bradshaw
City Attorney Robert Schwerer

Special Closed Meeting (Attorney-Client Session) of the City Commission of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, pursuant to Florida Statute 286.011(8) to discuss settlement negotiations or strategy session related to litigation expenditures in connection with pending litigation – City of Fort Pierce vs. Petroleum Marine Consultants, LLC and RGD & Associates, Inc., Case No. 56-2014-CA-001984 (BC) Circuit Court of the 19th Judicial Circuit.

Announcement of estimated length of attorney-client session.

The closed session is anticipated to take approximately 30 minutes and will be recorded by a certified court reporter.

The session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter. (Note: The court reporter will prepare the transcript of the meeting and file it with the City Clerk within a reasonable time; it shall remain sealed until the conclusion of the litigation, at which time the transcript will be made part of the public record.)

Linda Cox, City Clerk, left the meeting at this time.

Meeting to reopen at conclusion of attorney-client session.

Linda Cox, City Clerk, returned to the meeting and Mayor Hudson announced the session was reopened at 5:59 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at 5:59 p.m.
