Mr. Mefford was present for the meeting, the Board had inquired about a credit issue on Mr. Mefford's credit report. Mr. Mefford indicated that the issue in question was in negotiations and was from almost 7 years ago. After discussion regarding this issue with regard to past applicants, and taking into consideration his current licenses with other jurisdictions and other factors, the Board decided to conditionally approve Mr. Mefford's application with the condition that he provide proof within 2 weeks, of correspondence with the debtor to resolve this debt.
Motion was made by Reed Sudderth, seconded by Ryan Collins to conditionally approve the application of Joseph Mefford dba Taylormade Fire Systems. Once Mr. Mefford provides proof of correspondence/resolution with the debtor that is satisfactory to staff, his application will be approved. A roll call vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
