The Rotary Peace Pole Proposed Revisions
Anne Marie Bode, Fort Pierce Rotary International Chairperson, and Doug Terhune, Rotary Club, presented the proposed revisions of the Rotary Peace Pole.

The Board inquired on the base height, what would surround the pole, the addition of a plaque commemorating the organization's 100th Anniversary, and the history of the Rotary Club.

Ms. Bode commented that the base would be 13 inches, the base would be painted dark gray and briefly explained the mission of the Rotary Club.

Mr. Terhune expounded on the mission of the Rotary Club as a civic organization, partnerships and local donation recipients, and provided some examples of other signage.

Ms. Moore commented on the location of the Peace Pole and proposed changes to the area that may affect its location.

Ms. Bode invited the Board to the Peace Pole dedication, on May 30, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.

Indian River Drive Mural Final Design

The Board discussed including the musician but found that the sunset alone was the best representation of the City.
