Partnering with St. Lucie County, we will be analyzing the impediments and taking actions on how to address the impediments. This will be the first of three (3) hearings before it is incorporated into the five-year plan.

Nicholas Mimms, City Manager, discussed the highlights of the Sunrise City Spectrum report; Citizen's Academy, Rocla Concrete Tie ribbon cutting, Police Department community engagement, construction updates, new businesses and upcoming events. There is a lot of great and positive energy.
Commissioner Perona mentioned Susan Parry’s concerns and thanked United for Animals for their efforts in the community. He would like to continue the discussion of vacation rentals at a future workshop.
Commissioner Sessions expressed his concerns about vacation rentals.
Commissioner Alexander had no comments.
